Vintage lot of three original Golden Gate International Exposition / Treasure Island luggage labels from the 1939-1940 California World\'s Fair held in San Francisco Bay.
Included are:
- Round 1940 California World\'s Fair Treasure Island label
- Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) Exhibit promotional label
- \"Let\'s Go to the Fair\" Treasure Island closing promotion label
These colorful labels feature classic prewar World\'s Fair graphics and were intended for luggage, travel trunks, and souvenir use. All are original period pieces and not modern reproductions.
Condition varies as shown. The labels appear unused but were previously mounted in a scrapbook. Mounting remnants and adhesive staining are present on the backs. One label has a small corner loss. Despite the flaws, the fronts display very well and would make an excellent addition to any World\'s Fair, travel ephemera, San Francisco, or vintage advertising collection.
