1940s Era Joseph Dixon Tailors Chalk Crayons No 903 Yellow 35 Pc Store Display For Sale

For sale is this vintage 1940s-era Joseph Dixon Tailors\' Chalk Crayons No. 903 Yellow store display box lot.

This is a great old Dixon tailoring/sewing display lot with the original half-gross master box, three filled inner boxes, one empty inner box with some of the original corrugated dividers, and 35 total pieces of yellow tailor\'s chalk/crayon. Dixon still makes tailor marking crayons today, but this lot is being offered mainly for the vintage packaging, display appeal, and old store-stock presentation.

Included are the following:

Two full complete inner boxes with 12 pieces each
One partial inner box with 11 pieces
One empty inner box containing some of the original corrugated dividers
One original outer half-gross master box, which originally held six boxes of twelve

There are 35 pieces of chalk/crayon total. Each piece measures approximately 2\" x 2\".

Condition: Vintage old stock / store-display style lot. The outer master box has a split corner and shows age/storage wear, including scuffs, rubbing, edge wear, corner wear, and general shelf wear, but it still displays very nicely. The inner boxes and chalk are in excellent condition overall, especially considering age. The chalk pieces appear nearly unused, with only light age/storage wear.

This is not a complete half-gross carton. The original master box would have held 72 pieces when full, but this listing includes 35 total pieces plus the boxes and dividers described above.
