This gorgeous, authentic piece of Americana: a vintage 1940s / early 1950s Myers "Bullet" Single-Head Commercial Milkshake & Malt Mixer was manufactured by the Myers Products Corporation in Rockford, Illinois. This heavy-duty commercial grade soda fountain classic is finished in the highly sought-after, retro Jadeite Green porcelain enamel on cast iron.
Unlike more common vintage mixers, the Myers Bullet features a distinct, aerodynamic chrome "bullet" dome top (Design Patent D.118,725) and a massive cast-iron base that keeps it rock-steady on your counter.
Condition & Functionality:
• Mechanical: Fully Tested and Working! The heavy-duty 115V motor runs strong. The automatic cup-activated micro-switch triggers seamlessly when the mixing cup is locked into place.
• Cosmetic: Beautiful vintage condition for its age. The iconic Jadeite Green porcelain enamel finish retains an excellent gloss. The original brass/bronze manufacturer's badge is perfectly intact with clear serial number stamps (S-43162).
• Chrome Dome: Shows a lovely, authentic vintage patina with pitting/foxing consistent with age (please review the close-up photos for exact condition details). No major dents or structural damage.
• Includes: Comes with two vintage stainless steel mixing cups shown in the photos.
Dimensions:
Stands 18.5 inches tall with a sturdy 6" x 8" footprint. It weighs roughly 19 pounds—this is a solid, commercial-grade machine built to last a lifetime. These mixers were not sold for household kitchens yet were used in soda fountains, diners or bars in the 1940's. Heavy Duty and made to last. Perfect for a mid-century retro kitchen display, classic diner setup, or tiki bar!
