Original 1941 Pontiac Indian Chief Lucite Hood Ornament
Rare original vintage Pontiac hood ornament featuring the clear Lucite Indian Chief design with chrome mounting base.
This is an original period piece, not a modern reproduction. The clear Lucite insert retains very nice clarity and displays extremely well. The chrome base has age-related wear, light scratches and some pitting/oxidation consistent with an original 85-year-old automotive part.
There is some red paint residue visible around the lower portion of the Lucite/base area, as shown in the photos. Mounting studs/hardware are present.
The ornament has not been restored or refinished and is being sold in its current condition.
