Illustrated throughout with photographs and color imagery related to wartime research, industrial production, testing, and atomic energy.
Includes an original Chrysler Corporation response letter from Public Relations Department representative James W. Lee II, sent to the book’s original recipient after she requested a copy. The front endpaper is inscribed “Miss Phyllis Elizabeth Eckhardt,” dated November 8, 1948, and marked “Science.”
Vintage preowned condition. Black cloth cover shows rubbing and light handling wear. Pages have age toning and normal storage wear. Original letter shows toning, folds, and age-related wear.
