Traditionally Master carpenters had a strong grasp of geometry and could do impressive figuring with steel squares. This book covers some pretty basic concepts such as fractions, decimals, percentages etc but relates it all to carpentry and discusses business concepts also. Things like invoicing and so forth. Therre is helpful instruction on Board footage. B&W photos show various processes and there are diagrams of molding profiles and construction details. Chapters have test questions with anwers in the back. There are 249 pages on heavy glossy paper. Condition is good with no DJ. No marks at all and binding is tight. There is a small stain on the lower edge of the front cover.
