Original vintage Pontiac Chieftain “Flying Indian” hood ornament from the early 1950s. This piece features the iconic Pontiac design with a streamlined chrome spear body, rear jet-style fins, and amber Lucite Native American head at the front. The ornament still has its original mounting studs attached.
Condition is used and shows age and wear, including chrome pitting, oxidation, and surface marks. The amber Lucite head is intact but shows typical age-related wear. This is a complete original piece, not a reproduction.
Great for restoration, display, or a vintage Pontiac project. A classic example of early 1950s automotive “Jet Age” styling.
