This vintage 1951 Goebel Hummel W Germany 11-piece large Nativity figurine set is a collectible holiday decoration perfect for Christmas. Made of porcelain and ceramic, these figurines depict various characters from the Nativity story and are hand-painted in multicolor.
This set is part of the Goebel and Hummel franchises, with each figurine measuring between 3 to 8 inches in height. With a religious theme and origins from Germany, this set is a beautiful addition to any Christmas display, especially for collectors of Nativity items. This was recently purchased at an estate sale of a very clean upscale home.
This seventy five year old 11-piece set is a #214 and the 6 pieces that I see crazing on are Baby Jesus, Mary, standing wise man, kneeling wiseman, the ox, and the donkey. Mary and the ox have the most crazing, plus Mary does have the fingertips chipped off of her left hand and 1 fingertip on her right hand is chipped too. (See Pics). Despite the damaged fingertips and the crazing, this is still a wonderful set to bring you and your family a lot of Joy over the Christmas holiday, for this year and for many years to come.
This lovely set has a very nice Buy It Now price, and is priced to sell quickly.
Thank you for looking and good luck offerding.
