This 14-page Du Pont advertising booklet has great mid-century modern graphics. It touts the benefits of buying garments made from Du Pont's newly patented fabrics of Dacron and Lycra, praised for their ability to stretch and move with your body. The booklet was a marketing tool, encouraging retail stores to carry garments made with these wonder fabrics to increase their sales.
The unique features of this marketing tool are the fabric samples and illustrated stretch rulers contained in the fold-out on the last page. Each fabric sample is marked with its fiber content.
The booklet is in very good condition. It is 12 1/2" x 7". There is a small mark on the right border of the front. Slight yellowish brown discoloration along the stapled page binding. Slight edge wear. Refer to pics..
