1966 A&BC Batman #35 Batman & Robin – PSA 8 NM-MT – BATCYCLE CLASSIC
This British-issue card comes from the height of the 1966 Batmania craze. A&BC Chewing Gum was the U.K. counterpart to Topps, and its Batman cards were distributed in Britain during the original run of the TV series. They’re far harder to find in the U.S. than their Topps cousins, especially in high grade.
The front shows a classic image from the show: Batman riding the Batcycle down an open desert road, with Robin in the sidecar wearing his “R”-emblazoned shield and the bat-fin styling on full display. It’s a vivid color photo from the series that made Adam West and Burt Ward pop-culture icons.
PSA NM-MT 8 is a strong grade for a mid-1960s card printed on British stock, and the image shows bright color and a sharp photo. Please review the PSA grade and the high-resolution photos as the best guide to condition.
It would be a standout addition for collectors of 1966 Batman, vintage non-sport cards, or classic TV memorabilia, and a great companion to a Topps Batman run.
