This quality vintage Mid-Century Modernist original hand-produced cut glass vase by Beyer & Co Kristal of Germany dating from 1970. This exceptional handmade cut glass vase has a beautiful minimalist octagonal shape in a stunning translucent deep cranberry colour with "Sommerso" style contrasts in clear glass. 6 of the vases main facets are flat and smooth and 2 have repeating cut wedges running the vertical side of the vase. This vase has a Bohemian inspired design that is similar and complimentary of works by Pavel Hlava for Moser. The vase measures approximately 10" height by 2 5/8" diameter with a 3/8" glass density and significant weight. Condition: The vase is in good condition with clean perimeters and 2 small flea bites. I tried to picture three tiny bubbles in the glass. There may be very mild to normal indications of use. The vase will be shipped with professionalism and care. Good luck to all buyers.
