Original U.S. military-surplus M548 steel ammunition can marked for 100 linked 20mm cartridges in M14A1 modified links for the M61 Vulcan gun. The lid is prominently marked “For Army Use Only – VADS Training Program,” and the ammunition lot stenciling is dated 2-1973. This listing includes one empty can with its lid, gasket, latches, and handles—no ammunition, links, projectiles, or other contents are included. It measures approximately 18.75 × 8.5 × 14.5 inches. The can has scratches, scuffs, finish loss, surface oxidation, faded markings, adhesive residue, and interior wear consistent with military-surplus use. The gasket is present but has not been tested for a watertight seal.
