Beautiful and highly decorative vintage Jewish prayer book, Siddur Avodat Israel with English Translation, published by Sinai Publishing, Tel Aviv, Israel.
The book is explicitly marked:
“Printed in Israel 1975.”
This is an especially attractive presentation-style example featuring an elaborate silver-tone metal binding decorated with traditional Judaica imagery.
The front cover features a dramatic raised gold-tone Crown and Tablets of the Ten Commandments, with Stars of David and intricate red, white and turquoise-colored enamel-style decoration.
Four large polished turquoise-colored oval cabochons accent the cover.
Surrounding the central design is an elaborate raised border incorporating Hebrew inscriptions, symbolic imagery and architectural/Holy Land scenes.
The reverse cover is equally impressive, centered by a large raised Menorah and surrounded by matching Hebrew inscriptions and Judaica motifs. The metal-covered spine also features raised decorative ornamentation and Hebrew lettering.
Inside are particularly attractive illustrated endpapers filled with Jewish religious and historical imagery.

This is an approximately 50-year-old vintage book and displays age and use consistent with that history.
The decorative metal binding shows surface scratches, rubbing, small dark spots/oxidation, finish wear and wear around portions of the edges and corners.
The interior pages exhibit age-related toning. The decorative endpapers show some tears, creasing and edge wear. Additional age/use wear may be present.
Despite the age-related wear, the elaborate exterior remains visually striking. The four large turquoise-colored cabochons and the prominent raised decorative elements visible in the photographs are present.
