Vintage Armitron Garfield the Cat quartz watch featuring a charming cartoon dial with Garfield’s arms serving as the watch hands. This unisex watch has a round gold-tone case, black band, quartz movement, and 12-hour dial. The stainless-steel back is marked 900/65, 4GB, Japan Movt, Water 100 Resist, and Garfield © 1978 UFS Inc.
One side of the watchband is missing. The remaining black band has considerable peeling and surface wear, and the buckle shows discoloration. The gold-tone case also shows age-related wear. I am not a watch expert and am unsure if it works. Water resistance is not guaranteed due to the watch’s age.
This nostalgic watch would be a cute Garfield collectible to hang on a wall or display hanging from something. Perfect for collectors or fans of classic cartoon characters.
