Bob Krieger is leaving WWL-TV next month to return to teaching and tells David Cuthbert why in an interview. Originally, this was to be a column about Bob Krieger's semi-desertion of the carpeted hallways of WWL-TV for the groves of Academe. When I first heard that Krieger was returning to teaching, he planned to stay at Channel 4 part time. We agreed to talk about what he was doing and the reasons behind the move. But when it was time to talk, things had changed. Krieger had handed in a full resignation (effective July 31) and seemed at once relieved, amused and annoyed by his situation. Photo measures 8 x 10 inches. Photo is dated 06-15-1980. PHOTO FRONT
