Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic survivor from the dawn of home video history: an original 1982 20th Century Fox Video Store oversized promotional hanging display box for the first-ever home video release of Star Wars.
Unlike standard promotional materials, this is a single, double-sided, multi-format display box designed to capture the peak era of the historic Videotape Format War. One side features the classic theatrical artwork branded for the VHS release (Catalog #1130), while the reverse side features the exact same iconic artwork branded for the Betamax (BETA) release.
