Vintage original U.S. Air Force Colonel white dress/ceremonial uniform coat and slacks dating to 1983. A very attractive decorated example retaining its insignia, qualification badge, ribbon rack and bullion Medical Service insignia.
Features Colonel (O-6) silver eagle rank insignia on black and silver shoulder boards, USAF Senior Pilot wings, U.S. collar insignia, multi-award ribbon rack with devices, and an impressive silver bullion Air Force Medical Service insignia on black backing. Silver USAF buttons and silver sleeve braid complete the uniform.
Interior USAF certification label reads USAF Certification No. 40 MBB 3-3-83, 100% polyester, dry clean only. Additional label identifies the coat as Size 42 Long. Tailored/styled by Patriot / Weintraub Bros. Co., Philadelphia.
This is an especially interesting combination representing a senior USAF officer who held Senior Pilot qualification and Medical Service affiliation.
