Handcrafted in West Germany in 1986, this iconic "Schäfer" (Shepherd) model features incredible detail, including the original hand-carved mallet, coiled herding rope, green Alpine hat with feather, and iconic faux-fur beard.
Condition Details:
Figurine Condition: Near mint. The paint remains vibrant, the wooden components are structurally sound, and all fragile accessories (rope, mallet, and hat feather) are completely intact.
Maker Marks: Features the authentic Holzkunst Christian Ulbricht "Handmade in West Germany" heat stamp on the bottom of the base, along with the handwritten production/catalog year "1986".
Box Included: Please note that this item includes a vintage Steinbach "Schäfer S710" box. While it serves as excellent protection for storage and shipping, it is a mismatch for this Ulbricht figure.
