THE RESTORATION &SANITIZATION STANDARD
Everyestate pipe I offer has undergone a rigorous, professional restoration processto ensure it arrives at your door completely clean, sanitized, and ready toenjoy from the very first light.
Mymulti-step detailing process includes:
***Deep Cleaned & Sanitized:** The stummel, mortise, and airway have beenmeticulously cleaned inside and out using premium high-proof alcoholtreatments.
***Precision Reaming:** The tobacco chamber is reamed completely down to thebare, healthy briar wood to ensure a fresh start. No old, stale cake is leftbehind.
***Optional Protective Bowl Coating:** To protect the freshly reamed wood andencourage a swift break-in, I apply a light, organic, food-grade bowl coating.*Note: If you prefer to smoke directly on bare briar, this coating is entirelynon-permanent and can be easily wiped away with a damp paper towel.*
***Stem Restoration:** All tooth chatter and bite marks have been professionallydrawn out and removed from the stem. It has been polished back to its originaldeep, high-gloss finish.
***High-Grade Finish Care:** The briar has been gently buffed and sealed withpremium Carnauba wax to maximize the depth and beauty of the natural grain.
A NOTE ON \"INTERNALGHOSTING\"
Iexhaust every advanced restoration method available including alcohol cottonpacks, salt-and-alcohol treatments, fluid retorts, and ozone gas treatments tocompletely strip out the previous owner\'s tobacco residue. While I am highlysuccessful at removing \"ghosts\" from 99% of my pipes, somedecades-old briar blocks retain a deep, stubborn aroma depending on what wassmoked in them. This is simply the nature of heritage briar. BAGS AND BOXES MAY STILL EXHIBIT GHOSTING
FITMENT & REPAIRINTEGRITY
***Airway Alignment:** I am a purist when it comes to engineering. I do not useharsh tenon expanders on slightly loose stems; instead, I utilize traditional,non-destructive beeswax to achieve a smooth, secure, and airtight friction fit.
***Full Disclosure:** If any structural repairs (such as band reinforcements ormicro-fills) were required during restoration, they will always be clearlynoted and described in detail within the description.
PHOTOGRAPHY & APPEARANCE
Itake extensive high-resolution photos from multiple angles under balancedlighting to give you the most accurate view possible. Because I am a craftsmanrather than a professional studio photographer, these pipes consistently lookeven more vibrant and beautiful in person. If you would like to see anadditional angle or close-up before offerding or buying, please do not hesitateto ask.
INVESTING IN CRAFTSMANSHIP
Thepricing of my refurbished or restored pieces directly reflects the extensivebench hours, meticulous care, and premium materials required to bring a vintagepipe back to life. This is a time-consuming, highly specialized process, and Ido not cut corners.
