Retro Robert Graydon Raku Art Pottery Studio Ceramic Cylinder Crackle Glaze Vase

This is a genuine vintage piece, signed and dated 1993 on the bottom.
Made in the USA by an artist local to the Pacific Northwest.
Medium sized. Measures roughly 10.6\" tall, 4.1\" wide (across the top), 3\" mouth diameter.
It\'s free standing and quite sturdy! Weighs just shy of 3lbs. Open on top, no handles or lid.
Black and white in color with distinctive crackle glaze patterning and leaf-like motifs near the top.
Draws inspiration from mid-century Asian aesthetics, done with a traditional western Raku firing technique.
Has a smooth glossy exterior finish. Single compartment charcoal-like interior space.
Because the inside is porous in nature, it\'s most ideally suited for standalone display or for dried flower arrangements.
Would make for a wonderful collectible and/or decor piece!

In very good pre-owned vintage shape, overall!
Despite having been thoroughly cleaned, the inside chamber does have a slight odor.
