This is a patch That was distributed by the US Forest Service.
A quick note, Many of these were first issued in 1971 and as many of the Smokey the Bear Style patches are a continually issued over the decades even up to the current tie frame, but these came from a group of Smokey patches from the 1970s that came from Lion Brothers in Maryland. So these are vintage.
These were given out at parks and events to help promote the prevention of Forest Fires .
Both have Smokey on the front and says, "Prevent Forest Fires".
The round one looks like an old iron on, but never know if old glue still works, so selling as a collectible for display only and if using, will have to sew on. This one is about 2" inches across.
The Badge shaped one is a felt patch, no borders and would need to be sewn on and is about 2.5" high and 2" inches wide.
These are in great shape, new and near but not perfect, they were never perfect, but close..
