Lineage wise, this mask comes from a genuine 1975 Don Post Studios Captain Kirk. Think Nightowl Psycho. This mask was made the same year by Justin.
I was the original owner but let it go to a collector that I knew loved it. He only displayed the mask. Nearly a decade later, he sold the mask to another collector friend of mine. Now I got it back Full circle. Lol. Anyway, that owner is a good guy who took some awesome photos. The mask was only tried on for these worn photos in the listing.
As with all of my other masks; they’re strictly for display. This copy is special in many ways. Justin Mabry made this copy look angry and mean🎃. The amount of weathering shows the insane amount of time that went into this copy.
I believe Justin used the #5 Prototype as somewhat of a blueprint for this copy. There is a reason 2005/2006 copies demand more and are most sought after in this hobby. Latex thickness and latex quality. A certified grail regardless.
