Available now is the complete23original pages to the entire issue ofClassic Star Wars: The Early Adventures #9printed by Dark Horse Comics in 1995. This comic also featured Boba Fett’s first appearance in comics, since this comic featured art & story from the 1979 comic strip, predating 1980’s Star Wars #42.Please read the following before making an offer:The 23 original art pages consist of photostat copies of the original Star Wars daily comic strip art that was done by Russ Manning, Dave Stevens, and Alfredo Alcala in 1979.The Photostat art was then cut to conform to the 10” x 15” printable art size of an original comic book page. Original art was utilized to extend certain panels to improve story flow in comic book form. Retouch artwork was done by Rick Hoberg, Brian Snoddy and myself. I was responsible for reformatting the comic strip panels to comic book pages, along with some additional artwork during my tenure at Dark Horse Comics. I was an on-staff artist working in editorial at the time and was offered these pages from issue #8 and #9 for all the work I was involved in so as to get the issues to the printer on time. This is a unique and rare item that would enhance any collection.
Each page measures 11.25” X 16.75”. All 23 pages in this offering will be sent from a smoker/pet free home in bomb proof packaging to the person who buys them.
