✨ About the Book
A varied lot of seven vintage religious and devotional books spanning Catholic and Protestant traditions, mid-20th century. Includes a Douay-Confraternity Catholic Bible, a King James Red Letter Bible, a Saint Joseph Daily Missal, a Polish-language Catholic hymnal (Śpiewniczek, compiled by Ks. Jan Siedlecki), a Southern Baptist stewardship study (Living Abundantly), a Pelican paperback overview of Christianity by S.C. Carpenter, and a first edition scholarly history of the Reformation by Hans J. Hillerbrand. The King James Bible carries a handwritten family presentation inscription — "Presented to Joseph J & Betty Jo Wojtkowiak by Floyd's RVs, Dec 8, 1987" — a nice touch for genealogy researchers or family-history collectors.
🕰️ Provenance
From a private collector's personal library, carefully built over 60 years and passed down through the family.
📷 Condition
Condition is based on the photos provided — please reference photos directly for exact condition of each book. The hymnal shows visible wear to the cloth spine.
