Representing the 4th Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment “Brawlers,” this oversized Army Aviation challenge coin combines battalion identity, command leadership symbolism, and the unit’s UH-60 Black Hawk mission into a highly detailed Coin of Excellence design. The aggressive winged profile, “BRAWLER” and “HERE TO FIGHT” inscriptions, and large custom silhouette give it substantially more visual presence than a conventional round challenge coin.

The obverse is dominated by a raised aviator skull wearing a flight helmet and dark visor, flanked by broad sculpted wings. Yellow 4 and 3 numerals identify 4-3 AVN, while the blue-and-white diagonal background reflects the heraldic lineage associated with the 3rd Aviation Regiment and 3rd Infantry Division.
