She promptly smashed open his skull to scoop out his brains for Thanksgiving pies. Since he wouldn’t fit in the compost pile, she tossed the rest of him out to rot on a rickety porch swing. Now Nester swings day and night, his rotten eyes glow green with envy and his mean sense of humor is all he has left.
