Appx. 5 3/4" x 2" x 1/2" Natural Surgical Black Hard XX Fine Arkansas Novaculite Whetstone/Oilstone/Knife Sharpening Stone

This surgical black hard Arkansas stone is found only in and around Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Made of novaculite, it is the finest natural abrasive stone available.
This stone is a high quality 2nd and may have minimal imperfections, chips, etc.
The pictures were taken with a tiny bit of oil on one side to bring out the black.
The white you see in the stone is an impurity in the novaculite. In this case, the impurity is actually translucent and will in no way affect the sharpening capability.
This is a really nice, unique stone!
