Vintage Lefton Billiken Ceramic Coin Bank – #1564

Unusual vintage Lefton Billiken good-luck figure/coin bank featuring an oversized head, mischievous smiling expression, large exposed feet and a distinctive heart-shaped belly button.

The bank measures approximately 7 inches tall and is finished in warm brown tones with darker shaded details around the eyes, face and body. A coin slot is located on the back of the head, with a large coin-access opening underneath. The underside is numbered 1564.

This is an especially unusual and expressive vintage bank that makes a great display piece for collectors of Lefton ceramics, Billiken figures, vintage banks and unusual mid-century novelty pieces.

CONDITION: This piece has a significant crack around the head, extending from near the rear coin slot around the sides and across the facial area. The bank remains intact.
