- Profusely illustrated in color and baw plates, maps & text block illustrations. Bound in 3/4 brown morocco leather & gilt-lined boards, spines illustrated & lettered in gilt with 5 raised bands, top edges gilt, morocco endpapers. Large volumes, approx. 10-1/4\"x 7-1/4.\" Spines slightly sunned to lighter brown, several corners showing a bit, former school library books with (in memorandum) stickers on each front end paper , slight internal foxing, else a very good, sound & well-cared-for copy of this influential historical work.

All of the items we sell are antique/vintage used condition and it would be extremely time consuming to detail every little blemish, therefore we only list clear condition issues that may affect how an item functions. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss could be present along with other wear consistent with age. Please view all the photos carefully as they are intended to be part of the description and as such NO Refunds or Partial Refunds will be issued for conditions present in photos. Our shipping fees reflect actual cost plus a small handling fee to help offset the cost of packing materials.
