Antique Austria-Hungary BohemianSworn Guard BadgeThis is an authentic, late 19th-century to early 20th-century (1890s - 1910s) public guard service badge (Přísežná stráž / Beeidete Wache) from the Kingdom of Bohemia era of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.**please read condition description and review photos carefully. there are visible signs of wear on this piece**These historical badges were worn by sworn civil security officers, including state forestry guards, gamekeepers, and agricultural land field protectors.Key Features:

• Design: Features the classic crowned Bohemian/Czech double-tailed lion in a central oval, flanked by bilingual text.
• Inscriptions: Left side reads \"Přísežná stráž\" (Czech); right side reads \"Beeidete Wache\" (German), translating directly to \"Sworn Guard\".
• Manufacture: Stamped out of a hollow sheet of nickel-brass / white metal alloy.Badge is approximately 3\" x 2.5\" in size and weighs approximately 14.65 grams.
• Hardware: Includes the fully original, period-correct vertical tension pin setup. The hardware is solid, un-soldered, and retains its full functionality.
