ATQ 19th-C Tourist View-Packet Postcards Views on the St. Lawrence T. Nelson Son For Sale

This antique view-packet Views on the St. Lawrence (Toronto to Quebec) was published by Thomas Nelson and Sons (London, Edinburgh, and New York) around 1859 as part of their popular tourist series (Nelson's View-books to Tourists, later designated as T. Nelson and Sons' American Views). There are 12 colored steel engravings lose in a paper slipcase. The 12 colored plates illustrate scenic highlights along the St. Lawrence River from Toronto down Quebec. Originally, these were retailed at 25 cents per packet. I currently do not see one exactly like this one for sale.

Used, vintage, antique, previously owned, displayed, and such items, are not new or mint condition. They will show signs of wear. It is impossible to describe every tiny detail of every item. If there is a major damage or wear or repair, I will reveal it in the description, in either the images or the wording. But if I don't notice a detail, it is not intentional. I describe my items honestly. Photographs are part of the description just as much as the words, therefore looking at the photographs, I might not write in words what I have already
shown clearly in the photographs.
