AUTHENTIC KENTUCKY INDIAN ARROWHEADS. GIANT 16” SPADE For Sale

***Hello and thanks for your interest in my sales. This sale is for a giant spade!! It measures 16” long and about 5 1/2” wide at it widest point. It is about 1” inch thick at its thickest point. It weighs about 4 pounds! This spade is huge and well made! It is truly a museum quality piece. It is made of shale. Chipped all the way around. The different color on the bit is a plow scar. I plowed this up over 35 years ago in a tobacco patch. Saw it roll off the mold board. The plow didn’t break it but did scrape that small spot. Regardless a super authentic artifact. Of the hundreds of hoes and spades I’ve looked at over the years this is one of the best. A huge spade like this was hand held. It has so much character with tons of wear use and nice patina. Just imagine the many many hours of work performed with this tool by prehistoric people. It is authentic and as found about 35 years ago in a tobacco patch by myself while plowing. Gonna be very hard to find a better one.

These are all personal finds of mine over a 40 year hunting career on private properties with permission. Found in various fields in south-central Kentucky.
