This inn (originally opened in July 1966 as the AirlinerMotor Hotel) was a historic, prominent hotel located at 4804 Edmonton Trail NEin Calgary, Alberta.
Known in its heyday during the 1960s and 1970s as"Calgary's Entertainment Centre," the property featured 120 rooms,temperature-controlled saunas, and a popular bar and cabaret that hostedtouring rock bands like Helix.
Following major expansions and renovations to theoriginal 1966 structure, the property officially took on the Quality Innfranchise name. It went bankrupt in 2012.
In May of 2012, renovations started into a 79-unitaffordable and supportive housing complex to support individuals transitioningout of homelessness.
Named Centre 4800, it held its official grand opening onJuly 16, 2019.
