Aizu Japanese Lacquerware Soup Rice Bowl & Lid Set Of 2 Chrysanthemum Design VTG
I bought these on a trip I made to Japan in 1988 and I bought them in a thrift shop there, I would think they are from around 1960's. Being from Hawaii where there is a high Japanese culture there, we used these on special occasions. It's time though to pass them along to another collector of fine and beautiful things such as these.
They are hand painted with the design of the Chrysanthemum flower, and are in exceptional condition with very little use.
