This is a beautiful example of a vintage, Inuit-made folk art doll. There is a hand written tag that says 6/50. Purchased at an estate sale. The coat appears to be made from natural fur or fiber (clearly natural and with a beautiful sheen). The type of fur is unclear, but the spots are natural. The fluffy fiber also appears to be natural. The face is hand-embroidered. The shoes are leather and handmade. This is truly a lovely example of Inuit or First Peoples\' artisan talent.
