Antique 10\" R&M Brass Blade Vintage Electric Fan #4204. Runs Well. Wall Mount For Sale

Fresh from an estate is a wonderful brass blade oscillating antique electric fan manufactured by Robbins & Myers of Springfield, OH in the late 1910s to very early 1920s.
The fan features 10\" diameter solid brass blades and a steel base, motor housing, cage, and struts. The fan is model 4204.
The fan was manufactured to be either placed on a horizontal surface (desk, table, mantle, etc.) or affixed to a vertical surface (wall) via screws through dedicated holes on the edge of the base. The fan would look stunning mounted to a wall in a cabin, living area, mancave, workshop, etc.Cosmetic ConditionThe fan is in very good vintage condition with age appropriate wear reflecting 100+ years of use, including some paint loss, scrapes and scratches and oxidation in places. The original gold \"off\" and speed #\'s are still clearly legible. The rubber cord is a newer replacement and the plug is new. The wiring from the motor to the base is cloth and has been taped in places. One of the cage wires is cracked were it meets the cage ring (please see picture), although this does not impact operability of the fan. The green felt on the bottom of the fan is original. Operating ConditionThe fan is a three speed model (high - medium - low) and runs and oscillates very smoothly on three distinct speeds.The fan can be run either stationary or oscillating, and the oscillating arc can easily be adjusted with one\'s fingers by turning the knob on the oscillating wheel.
DimensionsThe solid brass blades measure 10\" in diameter. The fan\'s height is 13.75\", width is 10.75\" and depth is 7.25\".

Please note: in some photos there may be a very faint vertical yellow-ish line on the left third of the photo. This is an issue with the camera, the line is not evident on the fan!
