Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic turn-of-the-century antique glass wine bottle originating from the historic capital of La Rioja, Spain (Logroño). Dating precisely to 1902, this empty bottle is a museum-quality artifact from the golden era of Spanish winemaking history.
The Bottle: Classic deep olive-green glass. It is completely structurally sound with no cracks, deep chips, or damage to the body. It features heavy, authentic cellar dust, patina, and grime accumulated over more than a century of storage.
The Neck Tag: Includes the original, stamped circular lead cellar tag reading "1902", still securely attached to the neck with its historic twine. These metal tags were used by cellar masters because paper labels would rot in humid underground caves.
The Cork: The cork was successfully extracted and remains fully intact. It features incredibly clear, crisp branded text reading "LOGROÑO" along with a historic winery shield crest (associated with the early days of Bodegas Franco-Españolas / classic Rioja production).
