Condition Description: An authentic, rare surviving flat 20-size European export cigarette tin. The structural form remains solid, rigid, and completely functional with tightly aligned rear hinges that open and snap shut securely. The standout highlight of this piece is the interior lid underside, which preserves a remarkably clean, high-contrast blue and silver manufacturer script logo that displays brilliantly when the tin is propped open.
As captured clearly in the photos, the tin exhibits honest historical shelf-wear and patina from over a century of age. The exterior lid shows generalized micro-scratching, light edge-chipping, and scattered oxidation spots across the dining room scene graphic. The base and side perimeter walls show heavy loss to the original gold-flash coating down to the bare silver metal tone with standard environmental scuffing.
