Antique 1913 Rodman Wanamaker Photogravure White Man Runs Him Custer Crow Scout For Sale

This antique 1913 photogravure features White Man Runs Him, a Crow scout for George Armstrong Custer, captured in a striking side-profile portrait by Rodman Wanamaker. The original sepia-toned print measures 9.5x6.5 inches (paper size) and is enclosed within a 14x11 inch cardboard backing/mount rather than a traditional wood or glass frame. The bottom margin retains the distinctive period typography reading "© by Rodman Wanamaker 1913" alongside the title "White Man Runs Him - Custer Scout". While the historic imagery remains bold and powerful, the piece shows clear condition issues consistent with age, including noticeable surface abrasions, flaking, and loss of paper emulsion on the right-hand side of the prominent feathered headdress, as well as typical shelf wear along the outer cardboard edges.
