Authentic early Lloyd Loom Products baby carriage retaining its original manufacturer’s identification plate. The carriage shows substantial age-related patina and wear consistent with an approximately century-old piece. The woven body and hood show surface wear, fading and areas of deterioration; the interior upholstery/lining has staining, discoloration and age wear. Metal frame, wheels and hardware exhibit oxidation, paint loss and patina. Wooden handle shows age and finish wear.
The carriage has not been restored, allowing its antique character and history to remain visible. Please carefully review all photographs for exact condition and completeness.

Marshall B. Lloyd revolutionized wicker manufacturing by developing a process in which woven material could be produced separately and then attached to the carriage frame. His process allowed the Menominee factory to dramatically increase production of its distinctive tightly woven baby carriages.
This example has wonderful period features, including the dark woven Lloyd Loom body, large adjustable hood/bonnet, round porthole-style hood windows, wooden push handle, metal undercarriage and four spoked wheels.
The photos indicate an approximate 37-inch overall height and approximately 18–19-inch hood/body width, depending on the measuring points. I would encourage buyers to rely on the measurement photographs as part of the description.
Its unrestored appearance gives it tremendous decorative character.
