This small-sized vanity case features classic Roaring Twenties styling with an engine-turned striped vertical pattern on the front and back, framed by a gorgeous engraved scrollwork border. The center features a blank geometric cartouche, ready to be monogrammed if you choose.
It comes equipped with an attached silver-tone finger ring, designed for a flapper to securely hold the vanity case on the dance floor.
Interior Features:
• Original Mirror: Intact on the inside lid. The stamp directly below the mirror reads "Made in USA" along with a partial maker's mark/patent number.
• Powder Well: The base contains a mesh-lined pink powder well. The loose powder is completely gone, but the original pink and white fabric powder puff remains nestled inside.
Condition Details:
This item is in original vintage/antique condition. The hinge and clasp operate smoothly and close securely. The exterior shows an authentic, time-worn silver patina with minor surface scratches and faint spots consistent with its age and history. The internal mirror shows classic antique silvering desaturation/cloudiness around the top edge, adding to its charm.
