This is a very nice example of a Navajo Rug that I suspect is circa 1930\'s or so. It is dark brown, grey and off-white. I believe all natural wool (not dyed) and hand woven. I don\'t see any flaws.
I am not an expert on Navajo rugs, but my father was fascinated by them and collected them for many years so of course I learned just enough to get myself in trouble. He gave this one to me perhaps 40 years ago and it has been carefully stored in a smoke free home. I suspect it could do with a careful cleaning but I\'ve not vacuumed or washed this rug in any way since I\'m not knowledgeable and don\'t want to damage it.
