Antique 1920-1930s Halloween Die Cut Lot of 3 Devil Witches Cat Cauldron. Unmarked could possibly be Gibson or Dennison’s Wonderful set of three original antique orange-and-black Halloween die-cut cardboard decorations, believed to date from approximately the 1930s and attributed to the Gibson Art Co.The set includes three different classic Halloween designs:• Smiling devil seated against a pumpkin
• Witch with broom and black cat
• Witch stirring a flaming cauldronThese early die-cuts feature wonderfully expressive period artwork and strong traditional orange-and-black coloring. Their backs are solid orange, as shown.CONDITION:Fair-to-good antique condition with attractive display fronts. These are approximately 90 years old and show expected age and handling wear.Noted condition issues include:• Devil has wear and a small loss at the tip of one ear, along with minor edge wear.
• Witch-and-cat design has a noticeable area of surface-paper loss near the top of the cat and additional minor edge wear.
• Cauldron design has small edge losses, tears and wear around the upper decorative element and lower portion.
• Backs show age-related discoloration, spotting, surface wear and light marks.
• Additional minor creases, scuffs and edge imperfections may be present.The pieces remain visually striking, with bright orange coloring and strong black printed details.
