Antique 1933 Frank Corbyn Price Framed Print FDR New Deal NRA Stamp On Back For Sale

On the front is a serene, sun-drenched English countryside river scene by renowned British landscape artist Frank Corbyn Price (1862–1933). The artwork beautifully captures a peaceful afternoon featuring a riverside cottage, a rowboat on calm waters, overhanging trees, and swans swimming in the foreground.
The reverse side holds an incredible piece of historical documentation: an original, intact National Recovery Administration (NRA) Compliance Stamp. Featuring the iconic "Blue Eagle" logo and issued by the Picture Moulding and Picture Frame Code Authority (Registration Code 31-32), this stamp precisely dates the frame's manufacture to President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Great Depression New Deal era between 1933 and 1935. Because the NRA program was declared unconstitutional and disbanded in mid-1935, items bearing this authentic stamp are highly collectible pieces of WPA-era history. Please NOTE: there’s tape on the back where the board has ripped and the tape is holding the cardboard backing.
