Up for sale is a beautiful, single antique bronze candlestick dating from the mid-to-late 19th century (circa 1820–1870). This piece features a classic turned baluster stem rising from a solid, stepped square base.
It is a heavy, substantial piece crafted using traditional sand-casting techniques. The interior of the base features a distinct, rough sand-grain texture, confirming its authentic hand-made age and pre-industrial origin. It has a gorgeous, deep, untouched dark patina built up over generations.
It looks especially good in Traditional, Victorian, Gothic, Farmhouse or Dark Academia interiors.
