Rare antique large 45-star United States flag measuring approximately 58 in x 97.5 in. This is a highly collectible historical piece from the 1896–1908 era featuring individually sewn multi-panel red and white stripes and a dark blue canton. The 45 white stars are individual fabric pieces stitched onto the blue field using zig-zag embroidery borders in the official 8-7-8-7-8-7 horizontal row configuration. Built with an open, textured cotton bunting-style weave, a thick cream-colored header canvas binding, and a dark metal grommet.
