Original base isturned, ebonized (black-painted) wood and has cracked and flaked paint loss.A replacement base is included for the brave of heart who would try to unscrew the candle stick from its original base.Spare/alternative middle section of candlestick with monkey motif included.Height with stand: 9 1/4 inchesPlease inspect pictures carefully.Only ship to the lower 48.
