Antique African PRIMITIVE Wood Shield Plate w Original Paint Folk Art #21 For Sale

This is for a really cool piece, it is either a plate or a shield of some sort with original early paint. I am not sure what region this piece came out of or the exact age, it’s definitely old, just not sure of a specific date. This piece measures roughly 11.5 inches. Piece has some surface wear as you can see from the photos, overall in good condition. The original paints make this piece really pop. Interesting piece!
