Antique Ashton Valve Co. Standard Test Gage, Boston, Mass., with an approximately 7-1/2\" overall diameter and 0ā500 scale.
An impressive early industrial test gauge with an aged brass/bronze appearance and ornate original dial. Best estimate based on the visible serial/production number and style is early 20th century, possibly circa 1910sā1920s; exact production date has not been verified.
Visible number on lower portion of dial appears to read 244 149. Please refer to close-up photos.
Gauge is in as-found, uncleaned condition. It shows age-related patina, discoloration, scratches, marks and general wear consistent with an antique industrial instrument. There is a small scratch/mark near the 20 area of the dial; please see photos.
The gauge has not been pressure tested or calibrated. The needle does not appear to move during normal handling, so operational condition is unknown. It is being sold as an antique collectible/display piece with no guarantee of functionality or accuracy.
Please review all photos carefully, as they are an important part of the description and show the gauge, dial, glass, case, threaded connection, measurements and overall condition.
