This is an elegant Perfume Bottle
in a tall slender conical form, flute cut,
blue - colored fine crystal, rimmed in gold, a tad under 9.25" tall, c 1922-1929.
Would make a colorful statementamong your perfume bottle collection.
This is not the original dauber but I have used it for years and it fits the neck, matching the gold
enamel trim, and displays beautifully.
I have a smaller, different brass mount in cranberry gold available separately in my store. Beautifullycut and polished glass.
Literature: The Perfect Atomizer An Object with Atmosphere, Tirza True Latimer: Crystal bottle shown made by both Baccarat and St Louis or Czech made, with variant hardware, pgs., 87 & 143, atomizer fringed knotted bulb pg., 114 and numerous other pages. The bottle itself is shown and stated to have been by all 3 as listed, St Louis, Baccarat and Czech.
This is from a collector where the prior owners took excellent care of it, for display purposes naturally the wearing of the rubber tube has occurred over time as well as thecloth covering loss. Minor age related wear.
